I booked this reservation a week in advance with a special request for good seating as it was for my fiancé’s birthday. They sat us at a table so close to the bar that the people that were already sitting at the bar couldn’t get out without one of our guests standing up. So apparently my request was ignored. I had the Chateau filet and my fiancé had the pork chop. The filet was fair. It was about 5-6 ounces and not bad, but nothing special. It was cooked correctly though. So it wasn’t memorable but it wasn’t bad either. My fiancé had the Sous Vide pork chop. She is too kind. Had they given me that overcooked piece of pork I would have definitely sent it back. It was thick, so I’m sure harder...
Unimpressive. Not French. The atmosphere is elegant but dated. The service was okay. The food was okay. This is not really a French restaurant. The dishes are “French” names but they aren’t prepared in a way like they would be at any good French restaurant. The meat was over cooked and not as ordered. All of the dishes were fairly bland. It’s a decent restaurant for American prepared dishes, but it’s not a French restaurant. The staff, the chef need training.
The food and service were quite good. The escargot were tasty, though they could have used a bit more salt to enhance their flavor. Overall, the dishes were delicious, and the waitstaff were incredibly attentive. We definitely plan to return!
We had the Chateaubriand. It was to die for! The service was excellent and the house Cabernet was top notch! Highly recommend the trio dessert.
