A wonderfully welcoming place between the years. To be honest, you don’t expect much from pubs and taverns between Christmas and New Year everyone is busy preparing for the turn of the year. But as holiday guests visiting “between the years,” we were welcomed here with genuine warmth. The beer is excellent especially the dark country beer on tap, which is fresh, flavorful, and highly recommended. Service was friendly, quick, and attentive. And the guests? We met everyone here: the pharmacist, the teacher, the doctor, the lawyer, the butcher, and the baker the whole village seemed to gather under one roof.
