I was excited to try this restaurant after hearing great things about their prime rib, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We made a reservation through Open Table and requested a specific table, but the hostess did not confirm our reservation and seated us at a different table. Our waitress was good, and the drinks were well made but overpriced. The prime rib we ordered was not what we expected - the portions were smaller than advertised and lacked flavor, despite being cooked to the correct level of rareness. The ranch dressing was chunky and unappetizing. In the end, the $100 bill did not match the quality of the meal, leaving us feeling let down.
The food was very good. However, the service was not. It was a while before we came in and someone greeted us at the host station. Once greeted, we sat and then it took over 5 minutes for our waitress to contact us. We discussed getting up and going somewhere else when she got to our table. We ordered drinks and the wait began. We could see our drinks at the bar but again it took forever for the waitress to bring them to us. Overall, the only salvation for us that night was the food. It was very good. I had the prime rib and it was tops. I will try this again but was disappointed with the overall result mainly due to the lack of service.
Jerico's has been our go-to place for special occasions for many years. However, our latest visit did not meet our expectations. Normally, the fillets (Knight's Cut) are delicious and tender, but this time they were underseasoned and had to be sent back to achieve the medium doneness we requested. We informed both the hostess and our server about the issue, and while the hostess offered to grill another steak for us, we declined as it would have been wasteful. The only response we received was an apology from the server. We will still recommend Jerico's, but with a cautionary note.
As always, the highlight of the meal was the prime rib. That's the main reason I occasionally stop for dinner at Jerico's. The blue cheese salad dressing is so-so and tastes like a glass, but the wine portions are quite generous, although the wine list is pretty dated and conventional. And at 77, I just have to have qualified to reach the minimum age for entry! Still, the prime rib is the best in town.!

Server was incredibly rude. I never asked if we need to refill drinks. I never asked if the food was okay. Ordered a medium-rare prime rib. It came out medium good. My husband's middle rib was much rarer than mine. Just an overall bad experience.
