Just home after a less than stellar dining experience at Pizza Delight, Mt. Pearl. The restaurant wasn’t busy (two booths occupied, along with a few tables in the small party room) and we were seated quickly. My husband ordered a draught beer, and when he got to the bottom of the drink, there were a number of things floating at the bottom of the glass. Showed the server who agreed it was disgusting, and she poured it down the sink near our table; didn’t mention it again. Our food came out about 10 minutes later, and we opened the cutlery. My wife and I came in around 8:00 pm for supper, there was maybe two tables being used and they were already eating so we were seated and served in a timely manner. Obviously the food came out in the same manner and was fresh and hot. Service was timely, neither hard to find or showing up when our mouths were full lol My only issue was the atmosphere. The house lights were so bright! Usually a dining experience has somewhat dimmed lightning and some background music playing (there was a radio station on but on low) It basically felt like we were eating in at a Tim Hortons or Subway. I would choose dim lighting over louder music. Not all bad considering, will come back to dine in again
The food at this pizza delight location is not edible not once but multiple times we get pizza where the dough is undercooked and raw. Cold dough is being used or something seriously wrong here. The quality at this location compared to others was just pitiful. This week's meal we got was not even edible. I'm surprised a place can stay open putting out food like that that can get people sick. We ordered this evening from Mt Pearl location. (Second time in about a month) disapointing both times. Undercooked and very cold. I understand it could be less warm in transport but this was just very cold, hardly any cheese and soggy dough. Not worth nearly 50 dollars at all. Shared a 9 inch pizza with works and 9 inch garlic fingers. Garlic fingers were paper thin, half the pizza didn't have ingredients...our server was very good, personable and efficient.
