Words cannot describe how delicious the bbq is from this food truck. I have tried everything from their brisket to a bacon brisket bbq burger. You can taste the smokey flavor and see the food being made on their grill. So you can know it's made fresh and prepared then and not before. Keep an eye out where they will be located but it's usually in front of the hardware store where you can park and walk to order. They have many sides to choose from. My favorite is the mac and cheese and red potato salad. The prices are great and the time to get your food is perfect for a quick on the go meal.
My son lives in Wilmington and turned me on to PCQ. Finally got my turn to try them and it was worth the wait and the 4 hour drive! I love pulled pork, not minced or chopped, and theirs is absolutely perfect... great bark, tender, moist, and nicely seasoned. Dale’s sweet sauce was a thin, vinegar base, with just the right touch of spice, sweet, and a little heat! The food truck is absolutely spotless, I’ve never seen one cleaner!
so excited to come today about port city que! eating is amazing and the service is exceptional? friendly people make excellent bbq. the braut is so tender and I love the drawn swarm. good brisket is so hard to find, but they nailed it here. the nachos are fabulous and the mac and cheese is great. they will not go hungry that is safe!
the loaded potato is AWESOME! I can typically eat a lot of food but I couldn't finish this thing. I only wish I would have checked my sides ended up with potato salad rather than Slaw that I asked for. All good though! Book a table now
