We went for lunch on the recommendation of the concierge at Aria.Granted it’s hard To provide a recommendation for people you don’t know. The concierge told us that this had the best variety which if that’s the case then Vegas is very lacking in sushi. This would be a good spot for people who have never maybe had sushi or wanting to just have some basics with a lot of drinks. It’s probably a lot more fun at night again I was looking for a good fish experience not a party. The roles were pretty lackluster the variety of sashimi was basic. Maguro sashimi was good but small and expensive. Seaweed salad had more flavor than the hamachi cebiche which was a bunch of chopped jalepeños and hamachi....
We always have a great time when we go here. The food is good but a little on the pricier side. Beer is reasonable but mixed drinks are charged at a premium. That being said, you will get dinner and a show! The waitstaff are incredible dancers and entertainers. The entertainment director (Caesar) is at the helm of the fun and the reigning sake bomb champ. It’s worth a try, even if you pop in for a quick drink. I highly suggest you make reservations if you want to sit inside to view the fun.
We made a reservation for after the knights game started and was still seated in the upper level against the wall, where you couldn’t see any entertainment. Even though there was plenty of seating downstairs. It’s expensive sushi because you’re on the strip and small portions. The dancing and dj seems more so highlighted on social media than it really is. This was my first visit as a Vegas local brining out of town family and I probably won’t be back.
We had an amazing experience celebrating my husband's birthday at Sake Rok! Cesar was an outstanding host and all the servers provided excellent service. Thank you, Sake Rok, for a fantastic celebration!
