"We were on our way home from Kelheim and lunch was announced. The best in the weather would be a beer garden. Through Demling, a part of the city of Großmehring, we have been through so often and there is a sign of the Gasthof Mayer Biergarten on the street. So the small access road went back. The inn makes a good impression, only we were a little confused. You can see the parasols from the beer garden. They were all closed. In short, read the opening hours at the door should be open. There are some steps at the entrance. On the left side of the house go to the beer garden. It's a walk. There is an entrance into the interior through two steps. Parking is available in the courtyard. Where the toilets are located, we cannot say they were not visited. Service Carefully enter the beer garden, there are two people sitting and drinking what, so he should be open. Checks and checks where there is a shady place. After some time a gentleman came to us in everyday clothes, put the ashtray, gave the cards and said – in the Inga. We were thirsty and ordered the same. The drinks quickly came to the table with a nice one, but the food order was not included. Waiting time was announced again. He then came back to the table and said – to eat. We gave up the order and he asked if there was a salad for the Cordon ball. A little later he brought a basket with bread and cutlery and there was another beautiful one. The food wasn't long, came to the table at the same time and he wanted to see us. Now we sat alone and left. After some time before empty plates he came to the table and said – so, right and took the plates. After some time before empty glasses, they were also noticed and from a distance he called to us – to Inga . He came to the table and said he would go sloppy and call us the amount. It was naked, he was still talking about Schena Sonndog, Servus. Very friendly service if you can call the service. 0.5 star food The card consists of two laminated cribs sewn together. On the front are the data from the inn and the upper edge is shown in red white. Doesn't look so bad. In the middle there is a side with hot dishes and a side with cold dishes. The selection is not very large. Schnitzel, Pommes, Currywurst and Würstl. We had two alcohol-free wheat, where we did not know the price, as he had only called the quantity, and we no longer know the Cordon Bleu from the turkey) with pommes for 8, € and mixed pressack sourizers, with peasant bread for 5,50 € In the basket were 4 half discs of peasant bread. It was tasteful of a simple variety and the Reek Kruste also went off. Nothing we could say, we must have. At the Pressack there were 4 thin discs red and white. These were of good quality and also had a nice taste. The sour consisted of a vinegar that the vinegar went out. A little pepper was there. For the sour it will be €1.5 more than for the normal Pressack, then you could already get more vinegar in that it will also get sour. At the top there were still very thin sliced onions, but they did not have much taste. There was also a vinegar and a piece of tomatoes and pepper was sprayed over and dried cut liquor was added. It's what we wouldn't order here again. The Cordon Bleu was very crispy roasted. The meat itself was cooked juicy and a little seasoned. The filling consisted of very simple cheese and ham, nothing tasteful. The Pommes could have come out of the frit a little earlier. They were very crispy and the smaller thinner pieces were already like chips. The ketchup was placed on the plate as a pen. These dishes are not enough for a repetition visit. 1.5 star ambience When you come, there are right hand many beer benches and tables on a wooden floor. Behind the meadow is a small walk with rabbits and some playgrounds for the children. Some trees are also here. On the left there is a somewhat more beautiful beer garden on a paved floor. There are no seat cushions and the tables are assembled to a long table. If more guests sit alone on the table is not possible. The area is beautifully landscaped with stones and plants. It is partly very beautiful, the other part is more like a beer tent. Too bad no shield was stretched on that heat. 3.5 star cleanliness We arrived and on our table there were water and dust spots. At the other end of the table there were traces of food. It's not inviting. Otherwise everything was clean. Toilets were not visited. 3.5 stars"
