"The Rimo 1 is located directly in the Möltenorter Hafen in Heikendorf. It was converted from houseboat to restaurant ship in 2012 and moved from Holland to Germany or to Heikendorf. It now serves as a restaurant ship and is very popular with both locals and guests, as I was told. I was here in Kiel Week. Unfortunately, the weather didn't play quite with us, and we had to look for a place inside that is not so easy, as there are only limited seats here. But we were lucky and had a table. While a heavy thunderstorm with hail and heavy rain came out, we made it cozy in Rimo 1. Too bad you could have been sitting in front of the restaurant ship on the crest. There was a relaxed atmosphere. The menus were already on the tables, we were asked very quickly what we wanted to order. During the very nice operation we ordered the fish meat with potato salad and once the tomato soup with salmon inlay. We also ordered two Coca Colas and a cup of coffee. When we waited for our food, I had some time to browse the menu. Here you can also have breakfast each morning. There are three different variations of breakfast. In addition, the classic curry sausage is also offered here with Pommes Frites, oven potato with various supplements, various soups and cold and hot drinks. In the afternoon there is also a so-called coffee table. This includes a cup of coffee and a piece of cake for only 4, Euro. The price performance here is absolutely good. Our food was then finally brought to our table with a good appetite, and we enjoyed it while the rain folded the windows outside. A box of milk was also served for my Pott coffee. There was also a cookie. In the fish there was still a bowl with remoulade, which one did not need because there was potato salad as a supplement. It was delicious. After all, we paid our food and left the restaurant ship again and were very sure we came back here. Finally it is to say that the host room of the ship was very clean, although here a coming and going in the week of Kiel. Even the tables were clean, so we immediately felt comfortable here."
