This place is more distribution based than it is set up as a retail space. The bar is this odd open front that's got a low ceiling, cracked walls, and a sad washed up bar tenderess. Do bartenders often drink with their clientele? Is that thing? It's 4.30 on as Friday, and they close at 5 PM, is that about right? She wouldn't stop talking about how she lived in New York City once, and it apparently broke all her hopes and dreams. We;re not therapists, please just tell us about the beer. The brews were uninspiring, and the ones from the tap has a sickly flow. Weak pour from the taps make me wonder if there's a lead somewhere allowing bacteria to seep in and grow. This was my least favorite sto...

I tried to check in here, but cell service can be really spotty. Our GPS didn't work on some of the back roads, so if you are planning to come here from far away, bring a map as a back up. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable about the beers, but could not give us a tour because the brewery was too busy. The Brewery is small, so a tour guide wasn't really needed to explore. The price has changed, it's now $5 for 7 samples or 2 samples for free. You can sit outside, enjoy your samples because they have picnic tables outside or you can enjoy them indoors with their small sitting area. They have a map, which leads you to other wineries and breweries, so a fun day can be made out of this plac...

After looking this brewery up on the internet and enjoying the Monty Python-like vibe on the site, I thought this would be a hip and good spirited place. I was sorrily disappointed. The staff member was the most miserable person I have come across to date(and I think he said he was the son of the brewer)! I think the only time he uncrossed his arms was when he poured our samples. Other then that, he just leaned back on the back on the counter and waited for us to finish up and leave. The seasonal(pumpkin saison) was actually very good! Unfortunately, they are not canning this so you can only purchase it there. NOT worth the two hour drive...

In the middle of nowhere but we needed it to get our stamp on the Cooperstown Beverage trail. The beers were ok, I have had their canned offerings before so I went with a tasting of the drafts. The Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Saison were nothing special. The IPA was not hoppy enough. If your looking for a good beer I would not recommend them. But if you need to complete the trail you must go. No cell service, and the wifi was really bogged down once our group of 6 tried to join. I think we had more fun taking our picture at the Pork Slap cutout.
