What do semi-informed outsiders think of Essen, Germany? Immediately certain images pop to mind: Krupp, Thyssen, steel works and coal mines, old smokestacks dominating a grimy neglected industrial town. Some Germans still refer to the place as “Alter Ruhrpott” (freely translated: Old Mine Pit) –...not very complimentary and without much nostalgia. Wow what a great service and so friendly amazing. The lady was so friendly and kind . The schnitzel with cheese was super tasteful and my business partner was so amazed by the taste he said “could order another one” , the salad which was...aside was also super tasteful because of the nice dressing!! The waitress said we cook with the heart. !! You really could taste that. Complements and I will definitely return again.!!
Schnitzel mit Pommes! My wife and I love it. Was a vegetarian for more then years and since some months I eat some meat again and also in this place. The service friendly fast) and the food is more then Oke. Nice terrace...and view on the Ruhr!
Visited with a large bunch of friends and this place did not disappoint both in terms of the food and drink put on offer and the service with a smile considering we stayed on very late. Recommended.
