Angelina's Mexican

This place did not feel like a restaurant grade food, it felt like a street food quality. The chips and salsa was good, very addicting but the guac was not fresh and the water was bad, the restroom was very neat but the floor and the vibes of the restaurant gave a sea side vibe, which I'm not a fan of. I think the stuffed chicken jalapenos could have been fried with panko crumbs instead of batter which would have been better and the chicken stuffing should have cheese or something else in it not just plain shredded chicken. The beef tacos were good but the guacamole was not fresh. The rice and beans were good, nicely flavored.

Angelina's (Lewisville) is a favorite go-to place for lunch with co-workers. Call in our order and within 15 minutes...ready for pick-up. The atmosphere is ok. Could probably use a little pick me up, but the decor is what gives this long-running restaurant its character. I'd recommend the shredded chicken chimichanga or beef enchiladas. Both come with refried beans and Mexican rice. Yum! Their chips and salsa or chips and queso are a must-have as well.

9/29/2022: I ordered the Grande Burrito with rice beans, it was absolutely amazing and very fresh tasting. For the appetizers I ordered the chips and queso, both of which were very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the whole experience wasamazing. I highly recommend trying out this restaurant.

stopped for dinner based on the reviews! they didn't lie! space was very busy, but the service was excellent. very friendly staff and helpful! old school Mexican food and I loved it! margaritas were big and delicious!

Had good service but the food is low tier, your average value Tex Mex (probably Sysco based).
