Angelo's used to be a great place to stop for morning breakfasts or an enjoyable dinner, even by truck driver standards. Now, it is just so-so. The upper dining area is mostly closed, the booths were uncomfortable to sit in, the atmosphere is blah. Not a good place for eating. The best thing about Angelo's now is that you can still park your rig, get a weigh scale ticket or take your dog for a walk out in the back 40!
Went first 16 years ago and it was an amazing small truck stop with great breakfast and nice atmosphere. Went quite a few time over the years and i went in December and the atmosphere is still there a little bit turned down but the sausages and the food is not at the same level as it was. I still hope it will get back at lest at the 2006-2007 levels.Nice staff, and now only decent food
This is another restaurant that needs to improve on their service to customers. Even with reservations, there seems to be only one waitress on duty.
The staff was friendly, the food was much better than I expected it to be. We will definitely be stopping here again the next time we pass through/
