Arthur’s Pizza has been around for over three decades, and now I know why. This was our first visit. There are plenty of vegetarian (for me) and vegan options, and even more for animal protein lovers. There was a generous amount of garlic to enjoy in the pizzas and calzone, too. We all loved the thin and crispy dough base, which had NO hint of soggy base syndrome; it stayed crisp and firm to the very last bite. Do you know how rare that is to achieve? Our waitress even brought over chilli flakes on request and two cans of Coke with two tall glasses of ice and a small bowl of lemon slices. In other words, Arthur’s doesn’t sweat the small stuff.
