Athos - Table reservation

Currently there are only three or four restaurants open in Grimma after the Mulde floods of May. This place is right on the Markt in the Innenstadt, with seats outside with the Rathaus across the square. Aided by what must have been one of the...hottest weeks in the area for a long time, dining alfresco was a joy. Big selection of Greek specialities, along with more Germanic meat dishes and fine beer and wine, it was a great way to kick back and graze while squinting in the sun. Service was not particularly fast, but was very accommodating and friendly. Anyway, there was no rush

on 10.06.17 we met with friends in the athos at the market in Grimma.We were 8 people and were kindly received.The reservation worked and we got the service was very friendly, fun and pleasant.Card and first drinks came time-saving.The selected meals were served at the same time and tasted very delicious.In particular the lamb is recommended.It was a nice evening and we come to the last guests.

the service was friendly. the ambiente in the department store very nice, with a view over the market.The greeting liquor was nice, the main dish (meat plate with pommes, tomatenreis and salat for 2 people) was delicious, very lush and typical Greek.

unusual for a Greek restaurant in Germany, the athos serves quite real Greek eating instead of the too often encountered huge baptisms tasting pork and lamb lumps. they have a selection of excellent appetizers and they will not make anything wrong.

very recommended! the ambiente very nice is located directly on the market and very nice staff! from bus station only 1 min to foot away.
