We just had an amazing time both on the Avensole tasting patio and then at the restaurant afterwards. We had a group of 10 of us gathering on a recent beautiful Friday afternoon. The staff was all very welcoming and went out of their way to put sofas and chairs together for our group. Our server was knowledgeable and directed us with tastes of various wines based on our preferences. My husband and I ended up ordering a bottle of the Susan (sauvignon blanc , which as a new release, wasn 't even on the menu yet. A very high score of 4th reservation at 19:15 on OpenTable. Check-in was extended by only one person working at the reception. This person also worked in retail or in the restaurant. Recommend a dedicated host on weekends. At 19:35 we were told that the kitchen was closed in five minutes. Overall, the food was phenomenal. Salmon, short band, seafood plate (appetizer). Bonus was the size of casting for a glass of wine. The service and food for check-in and early closing of the kitchen.
Came to try their new brunch menu and it was not disappointed. My husband?s steak was perfectly cooked, the Brussels sprouts were incredible and the French toast was pretty likely the most amazing combination of flavors I ever had. You have child-friendly drinking cups that were great, my only wish would be for a children's menu before lunch with a brunch option or two. Very recommended and we? ll be back.
On a rare day, lunch trip with my wife, and this beautiful person gave our daughter the super sweet sunglasses you see in the picture. Totally unexpected, estimated and a 5-star-worthy customer experience! The food and beer was also great!
