I first went last night. After living here for three and a half years, I finally stopped by. Located across from the Covina post office is the little cute BR. Super clean and updated location. Employees greeted us as we entered and saw we approached the cake case, asking if we needed any help. At my second glance, I spotted what I was looking for—the Polar pizza my boyfriend wanted as a kid but never got. A short conversation the other day led us here when I mentioned they still made them. $21.99 plus tax. A super cool experience as you eat it like a slice of pizza. Picking up an order for someone and one of the employee wearing brown uniform blond hair insisted that its in the fridge, i said ot wasnt, and she got annoyed and checked it herself and when she didnt find it she just said we dont have that order. Luckily a nicer employee wearing the pink uniform stepped in and and said Ill look at the computer... and she found it and said let me help you with that. The other employee looks so annoyed.
I have been coming to this location for almost 20 years now they are giving small ice cream scoops. I was told by an employee there that they are not allowed to fill the cups up anymore and have to make the scoops only 4 oz. The spoon they use has no measurement so my two scoops looks like one scoop. I will not return to this location anymore.
In this place there is an employee who discriminates against you if you do not speak English, yesterday afternoon an employee did not want to help me with an order when she saw that I did not speak English and another employee did want to help me but she did not allow it, I had to leave without be able to order. Worst service ever. First please don't say you close at 10 on yelp. But when I walk in they she they're closing in 2 mins. That's 8pm mind you. I paid for a cone and she broke the cone and put it in a cup. I asked for strawberry cheesecake to try but she gave me cherry. Worst experience at this location!
Not impressed with the customer service, my kids were looking forward to ice cream but we were told we couldn't have any flavors on half the side because they were too cold to scoop. We ended up walking out. It was the middle of the day and empty inside.
