Very friendly owner. Good beer, well-served. Mixed clientele, mainly gay (except on darts competition night, when there were lots of women darts players don't know if they were gay or just liked being in a darts team Always very smoky (we were the only...non-smokers there on all three visits).
Needless to say, people don't flock to Schwerin for the nightlife and there isn't a gay scene to speak of (that's what Hamburg is for). But Benno B is a decent enough bar, with reasonably-priced drinks and a friendly clientele. You can smoke inside and...snacks are available.
Wonderfull place with atmosphere. Cheerful owner as a barman. Great shorts and the best german beer. Highly recommended! Lets support the old true german place!
Decent beer and friendly people in Schwerin's premier (and only gay pub. Plenty of straight people visit too and it's handy for the train station.
