First time customer making an in person order and pick up during off peak hours around lunchtime. I was left waiting for quite some time without being notified that the order is ready despite being seated very close to the counter. I then find out that the dessert was missing from the order after returning home. A bit of a rocky first experience.Stroganoff: Legitimately good.Papparadelle Tomato: Didn't add protein. The sauce was okay, but the pasta texture was a little sad, maybe due to being allowed to sit.Brussell sprouts: Either started off frozen or are grossly overcooked. Not much texture was left.Calamari: Tiny squid pieces so the resulting batter ratio is unfortunate.Tiramisu: Missing...
Definitely a hidden gem, South San Jose's best kept secret! The food is ridiculously good! It's not necessarily fancy fare, but it's like they know HOW TO COOK. Textures, tastes.... My dad got the fish and chips... And there was fish in them there fish and chips! The batter was light and flaky wow. Between the burger, chicken Parm sandwich, and risotto, the fish won that day. I absent mindedly put a French fry in my mouth and did a double take. I hadn't expected to care one way or the other and had wanted the sweet potato fries (great too) but these were the best fries ever! When the weather warms, EAT OUTSIDE out the back!
Take out or dine in. The food is very good. The co da vin or Shepard pie I tried, and I absolutely enjoyed! This is a safe place to try new foods or stick with favorites.Vegetarian options: Brussel sprouts, French onion soup without cheese. Anything vegetarian on the menu is very good.
This is exceptional food. See pictures. The prices were reasonable, and the service was great. I’ll definitely be back. Those Potatoes were next level, the best I’ve ever had, and I eat out every day.
