what a jewel of a caffe that I discovered today in the center in bristol, I went only for a sandwich and coffee, but was welcomed by a beautiful friendly family, vater, mother and daughter selling beautiful fresh made sandwiches, crepes, suppe, cake and more and perhaps the best cup coffee that I can remember. they offer many choices of coffee and the daughter, maria, told me she had just done a barista course, this is a caffe for coffee lovers, I was also tried by a sweet cream to order, it was totally amazing. I wish I lived or worked near because I would be here every day, I left with a smile on my face and I can recommend it to everyone.
blue pig cafe is a beautiful place to stay for one of the best pancakes I have tried so far. their thinness makes them extremely easy to digest, regardless of the filling option they could choose. those filled with salmon are absolutely amazing and melt in their mouth, so they want to choose another order. but it is not just about pancakes, they can also order salads with additional toppings of their choice for an additional and small price difference. hot drinks are all very nice with good coffee. they can also choose for sandwiches, baguettes, cakes and smoothies. all of them are always homemade, fresh and good quality of ingredients.
This charming cafe has the best coffee I've ever tasted. Maria taught me more about coffee in 5 minutes than I ever knew in my life. It's a friendly place that's worth traveling for, and we'll definitely visit again when we're in Bristol. We only wish we lived closer.
the atmosphere is quiet and cozy and eating, especially the pancakes, is wonderful. the owners were friendly and helpful meaning the whole experience was amazing. would definitely recommend!
