oh my god, we can talk about how delicious and tasteful and authentic eating is! this place was marked as one of my 'willing' places to go on my Google cards and I finally went. I mean, it's a 25-minute drive from home and it was worth it. I met the owner who didn't know he was the owner. he just spoke and shared something through our conversation that he was the owner and from there he shared my advice, as our little conversation led me to share my business! he said his customers were like friends, and in this short time our conversation felt familiar. oh, and he has a bulletin board for business to share visits cards / events and was allowed to add my information to this board. I came home...
Another hidden place in Bridgeport for home cooked food. This is a small place not to sit and eat a great place, I would suggest a place for departure. Two people were on the counter to take order, they were prompt and pleasant. I tried the double that is a roti with chickpea curry filling that was really good spices and taste. They had a proper mix for the chickpeas curry this place has many Indian flavors. Stew chicken with white rice and yellow Dal as a Mini-Entree for $6.50, which is appropriate and appropriate for a person meal. You have strong smell of used oil at this point I would rather order someone online instead of waiting there. Overall, it is a must try good food low prices.
I hate to give a bad overview of this business, but I hope the owner will see this and improve their customer service. I stumbled over this local kitchen while I went through the area and loved the food! I went back today and ordered a duck and a pack to go. It took 45 minutes to make the food! I was like ok... no worries as I understand that restaurants can be busy with online orders and what not, drove back 1 hour as I live in Wolcott and when I opened the bag, my order was completely wrong. Wrap was not what I demanded, and toppings were completely different and it was totally uncanny! I'm pretty upset when I waited patiently and at least they would have done to check my order.
This place is my favorite place to eat period! I routinely travel in a space between DC and CT on the regular and the food here is fantastic. THE SHRIMP CURRY ROTI is my go to item. The shrimp are so well cooked they are juicy as you bite into them. Also try the Peanut Punch it is really good. I don't have the words to say how much I enjoy BOBBY B'S.
