The ambience is pleasant but a little noisy when busy. Service is pleasant and efficient The German food is non traditional. For example, the jaeger sauce is lacking in the mushroom, onion and bacon flavors you'd expect; instead it's a thin brown sauce strongly flavored with tarragon, almost like a béarnaise sauce. The red cabbage is similarly strange, tasting of anise instead of clove, apple and vinegar.
