We stopped here for a drink one evening while in the town. I think the people behind the bar were the owners, a couple possibly husband and wife. Having approached the bar, I think we both regretted the choice of place but we persisted and ordered two beers. They were poured with bad grace and then we were told we could not take the empty table of choice but no reason was given. There was only one other table occupied and no sense that the place was about to become busy. The atmosphere was horrible, we both felt uncomfortable as we were stared at the whole time by the owners so rather quickly than we might have liked to, we finished our drinks and left. Perhaps they just don't welcome strang...
We stopped here to have dessert with my sister just before taking our train, the welcome was perfect, very good atmosphere inside. We had a pistachio crème brûlée, a variation that I had never tasted, it was excellent!
We shared an exceptional cuisine. An unbeatable quality/price ratio. The kindness of the cook and the humour of the boss only made an unforgettable moment. Good continuation
