We found this place during covid. We liked sitting outside, never sat inside. Service has always been something to be desired and we stopped going. We had been 3 times in 2021 because we could sit outside. Most older wait staff give you the impression they’re doing you a huge favour, huffing and puffing etc. when you ask for something THEY have forgotten, they DO NOT like it and when you tell them your order is wrong, which is every time we’ve been, eye rolls etc. One visit we sat for the longest time before being served because they were doing an order for movie crew. Regular customers were left waiting, customers should have been informed to be able to make choice to leave because the wait...
This is a small business and hence it was one of those rare places that were open on the Thanksgiving Monday. We were meeting our friends after a long time and were looking for a cozy place. This was quite full and we had to wait for around 5 min to be seated. So not that bad actually. The food was good. Some of us were vegetarians and rest non vegetarians. We had kids with us too. This is the definition of your greasy spoon diner with top notch comfort food and good prices. Grew up down the road and have been going for a long time. The food today has been great, especially the breakfasts and the diner staples. If you’re in the area and are hungry stop in, you’ll leave full, satisfied and not regretting your choice.
Lovely place. Prices were good and the staff were very attentive despite how busy it was. Both the cream of mushroom and turkey vegetable soups caught my eye, and both were fantastic you can tell it was homemade.
