Large portion sized food with reasonable prices. We usually go for either the meat or vegetarian Breaky Plate and whatever else on the menu calls out to our appetite on that day. Super love their Wedges; we rarely skip this one whenever we're here. Don't forget to get them with Sweet Chilli and Aioli. Overall, service, food and coffee is good; though sometimes their quality can be compromised especially when they are busy, which is totally understandable. Staff do try and make up for whatever is not served right.
What a terrible cafe! They forgot to make my food. After being reminded they brought it out (30 mins later) and it was cold and gross (cold mug of baked beans anyone?) My son's ($9.80) serve of chips were also cold and my friend's ceasar salad was inedible. It took forever to get two coffees but the reason for the bad review is that we saw the cook/chef grab raw bacon with his hand and then grabbing a plate with food on it, ready to be served to a customer. Afterwards, the cook/chef merely wiped his hand to a tea towel. Simply gross. Raw bacon can be a significant health hazard so better not eat there if you want to avoid food poisoning!
This place always seems to be super busy every time I wander past but was calm today when I popped in for a chai latte and a treat. The chai was delicious and possibly my new favourite around Subi. Had a chocolate muffin to split and while tasty, it didn't pack a very strong chocolate flavour. Great coffee also.
