Very overrated...over crowded due to the undeserving hype. Waitress was very kind though, and the location was nostalgic. This is my 2nd time trying beignets here. I thght maybe I'd just received some duds my 1st try, but the 2nd visit (an entire 6yrs later) still left me with nothing to be desired. LORETTA'S Authentic Pralines is muuuch better!
Extremely overrated coffee placeThe cafe au lait is crazy crazy mid, like just coffee and milk mixture, I’m sure you make better coffee at home, IF you make coffee yourself.The beignets were decent, but again, nothing special. Just some crispy doughnut like stuff with a lot of powdered sugar.Good vibe tho.
Highly overrated. The line for the take out is long and not worth the wait. We were lucky as we walked through the seating area, a table got free and we sat there with great anticipation to have the much hyped Beignets and coffee. It was the most disappointing meal of the trip to NOLA.
Coffee not bad. Just too noisy, but this is French Quarter, what else you could complain?
