I liked my visit here. I can't say I'd get out of my way, but the poppy cake I had was very nice. On the day I visited, they had four vegan options (bit a shame as the non-vegan things looked amazing). They were all variations, mostly fruity cakes instead of everything decadent or rich like a cheese cake (Faux) or chocolate cake. But if you're in the area, stop. Coffee was not good, though.
Café Issel has always at least one vegan cake, very often more. Most of the time fruit pies, but believe me, they are delicious, too! The last time I had a chocolate-nougat-cake, which was soooo yummy. Always check facebook for the latest creations. The cake costs 3 € per piece (that's okay).
