I have been living in the area for a little over a year and recently decided to try this place for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning to try their cakes, which looked amazing. I don't understand why anyone would choose to go to Costa, which is just a 2 minute walk away, instead of coming here!
I ordered two bacon rolls to go for my mother and me. I witnessed the woman handling raw bacon with gloves, and then using the same gloves to butter our rolls. We promptly threw the rolls away and went to a different place to eat. This unsanitary practice could potentially lead to someone getting sick.
I was glad to give this wee place a revisit as I enjoyed my last time here. It offers good quality of fresh food. Plenty of choice for lunch in a very nice setting.
I recently enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea that was both tasty and affordable. I will definitely be placing another order in the future. I highly recommend it.
