Capt Dave's on the Gulf

Traveling from the city, one of your concerns can be security while you eat publicly. Captain Daves has done a great job with clear plastic dividers to make sure they take care of any precaution for your family and their safety. The views are amazing and it is inside.so it is the perfect place for a romantic evening or to enjoy the waves without the night breeze in the winter time. I felt the quality of the foods did not match the price. It was definitely good, but for me it seemed too expensive. Overall, our family enjoyed eating here and we appreciate the friendly service.

Our first time, but not the last! Everything about this culinary experience was wonderful! We were quickly welcomed and immediately set. The views from the table are amazing! Our waiter Rick was great! The food was fabulous and a good value. I can't say enough great things about this place, and I can't wait to come back to the area to eat again!

This is hands down my favorite place to eat in the Destin area. The crean cakes are superb. The fish was seasoned well and the hush puppies were light and fluffy. The only thing that was lacking was the desert, I got the chocolate mouse and it was way too rich and bitter. The service was great and the environment was pleasant. I highly recommend

Captain Dave is exceptionally excellent!! The Hot Dang Shrimp appetizer is a must and the Parmesan filled shrimp is amazing!! Every penny worth it! Our server Jonathan was great! He was super attentive and fast!

Omg sooo good. Ask Jay, he's a great waiter. Order the crab legs or shrimp cups. Much better than crab trap.
