Service was excellent and one of the servers went out to explain all the different traditional Mexican foods to this Anglo. All servers made sure I was satisfied with the food. The place was full. It also seems to be a popular place. Customers were obviously hardworking people who appreciate large food at very reasonable prices. I refuse to say cheap food as all foods were high quality. Loved the music and it wasn't too loud. A highlight of my many weeks travel.
My boyfriend and I had a carnita torta and a torta asada they were both very good and tasty we went home satisfied. .. with our belly full and even picked up some pan dulce for the morning that was very delicious
I didn't know they served food there. It was a long time since I was, but she always loved meat. It was very worth trying. For me different. I liked it, and it was busy, but I was short-handed.
This is Carlsbad's best secret.... the hot dogs are amazing!! They are packed in bacon and filled with beans and grilled onions, these HOTDOGS are my personal favorite....
