From the start a really warm welcome, even welcoming well behaved dogs. Very friendly. The food is a bit higher than I'd normally afford but it really is worth it as the food was amazing! That treacle sponge to die for! Before we left we had booked our next visit. Looking forward to it already! Thank you
my eating on the other side was delightful, I ordered the crispy suet pastry cake-of-the-day with creamy maic, rich gravy and seasonal vegetables (fresh made) £10,95 wow, wow and wow again is everything I can say. it was a bark and red wine cake and the meat melted in my mouth.

We went to The Catherine Wheel for our work Christmas lunch. Everything was perfect! The food was delicious with very good portion sizes, the staff were very welcoming and attentive and the pub was clean and cozy. I will definitely be going back.
