Took a long time to get our drinks and food, the queso dip was not much of an appetizer, they barely had any chorizo or cheese, enough for maybe 2 tortillas. My girlfriend’s burrito plate felt like it was put in the microwave everything was chewy, beans and rice were dry. My carnita plate was also hard and chewy, more onions than meat, beans and rice also dry. My check was almost $70 not worth it at all, horrible food, never going back again. I recommend El Maguey better food and cheaper.
last Saturday I went with my friends to celebrate my Birthday, I ordered the chef molcajete first time I order this plate and Wow! the food was amazing took me back to a vacation I had a few years ago at Acapulco the flavor of the food was authentic Mexican food, the service was great and the waiter was very nice. I also had a frozen margarita which had the right amount of alcohol for my taste. Will definitely recommend Great Experience will definitely visit again.
We order from here all the time, and the food is just excellent, we came here tonight for the first time and the food is just awesome, couple with great service , massive margaritas, a real gem of the Midwest, can't say enough good things about Charro!!!
