Well, what can I say?. Since moving to this end of Waterloo about 18 months ago, we have frequented this eatery probably 15? times. NOT once have my wife and I walked away disappointed. The food has always been great, service excellent, and friendly staff.You can easily spot the signs of a good establishment by the amount of patrons that are requlars and such is the case here. Every time we eat here, I see a lot of people from the previous time. I usually opt for their burger, which is made from scratch, and is excellent, served with fries, or if you like, a salad. . My wife usually orders the foot long hot dog with cheese and bacon, and it has been great each time. I have had their Nacho 's...
I hate to rate low because this is honestly an awesome establishment but booze/drug fuelled regulars are doing more damage than I think the owner knows. There's a certain regular crowd that shows up from time to time who are nothing but loudly profane and making team coke trips to the washroom (they don't hide it when you're in there) these customers are starting to give the chill a pretty bad reputation amongst many. I can't take my family there anymore which is sad because the staff and atmosphere are great.....I'm not isolated there are many customers who feel the same
Where on earth did that picture above come from because it's certainly not of this simple rough about the edges neighbourhood bar! Super friendly staff, simple and tasty pub grub, and hey, the beer is always cold. Hometown hockey supporters really appreciate the bus to/from Kitchener Rangers games (brilliant that!! . Worth checking out.
Great burgers...nice bartender...hole in the wall dive bar that gives exactly what you are looking for in this kind of place good food...cold beer and friendly faces. I'd recommend it..lunch or dinner...late night drink...or afternoon cool down.
