I had heard that this was the best rice restaurant in Jefferson City, so I decided to stop there on my way home. I ordered two servings of St. Louis style fried rice and two orders of crab rangoon. Once I got home to Columbia and opened the containers, I was disappointed to find that I received their regular fried rice instead. I called the restaurant, and they said the manager would call me back, but after putting me on hold, the call disconnected. When I called again, I was told I needed to speak with the manager, but I still haven't heard anything from them since that day.
China King has been our go to place for Chinese food for over 5 years. After yesterday that could change. Everything we ordered was bland tasting. It did not taste bad, it just just did not taste at all. Even the Crab Rangoon had no real flavor to it and we normally love them. The food we got was a complete 180 from what we normally get from China King. New ownership maybe??
I placed a takeout order near closing time. Apparently I have a bad habit of that . Anyways. The food was on point. Even though they were all ready to go they were still so friendly. I honestly can't tell you the last time I've had fried rice that delicious. Side note, I eat Chinese food way more then the average person. So if I say the fried rice was good. It was.
Excellent food, great price, always on time, order always right over the phone, clean facilities and courteous staff. This is my go to for a quick lunch or dinner. P.S. try the triple delight Book a table now
The staff is very friendly, but the food was disappointing. My meal arrived half-frozen and undercooked, lacking any seasoning or flavor. Overall, the food was terrible.
The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. They offer a nice selection of lunch specials in addition to classic Chinese dishes.
This is my go-to Chinese on the West side of Jeff. They are always courteous the food is hot, fresh authentic.
Food used be best in town now it's the worst not sure what happened but after eating this I was sick for days Book a table now
