This is only my second time going to the Landing location. I remember now why I never go there. Worst burrito I’ve ever eaten. Pinto beans are too salty, the barbacoa meat was too salty and had no flavor, I didn’t get rice, the guacamole was the best thing and fresh. This place is for people who don’t know how to eat well or maybe haven’t been exposed to good cuisine or maybe they need to venture into other places. Next time I want a burrito I’ll make sure to go to Oakland. By the way, I haven’t seen a single taco truck in Alameda; I bet that is on purpose. This stuff in Alameda can’t compete. Pass. Wheelchair accessibility: This location is cramped, no wheelchair is getting in there.
The food is just average. Unfortunately, the service is lacking most evenings. It's not that the staff are unkind; they simply seem poorly trained, especially when it comes to handling the register (be sure to check your receipts!). Their customer service also leaves something to be desired—learning to apologize for errors in orders could significantly enhance the customer experience. It's frustrating to have to return to rectify mistakes or to discover errors while you're there. I seldom purchase food from this Chipotle. In the past, the service was slow. Since I happened to be in the area and I was hungry, I decided to get one of their bowl meals.I usually get a grilled chicken bowl. This time I ordered the barbacoa beef bowl with all the fixings that I desired. It wasn't that bad. The beef was tender and a tad salty. Having add the corn to the mix was okay.The service was better and I didn't wait long to receive my meal.Return visit? Might, then might not.
This Chipotle location is quite small and could use some better maintenance. Additionally, the soda fountain was out of ice, and the drinks—including Diet Coke, Mr. Pibb, and root beer—were all flat and tasted unclean. I hope they can improve on these aspects. Book a table now
This restaurant is consistently disappointing. The portions are small, they often run out of food well before closing time, and when I visited recently, I was informed it was cash-only that night. I really wish Yelp allowed me to rate it with zero stars.
I was getting the tacos and the server was putting a spoonful of each item so I canceled it because it was going to come out to $20+, not even worth it! These places are getting worse and worse with the inflation.
