Weddings, Oktoberfest, dine and dance, Wednesday wing night, Thursday 2 for 1, cruise night, etc. This isn 't just a restaurant, it 's so much more.As an employee it 's also a great place to work. You hear family get thrown around a lot and it never meant anything. Here we really are a family. Glad I found this place.Vegetarian options: Most veggies are prepared in house, not frozen. We didn’t get to eat. We went to the cruise night. It was packed. They are understaffed and the staff is very rude. I tried to speak to the hostess to get a table. She wouldn’t even look at me. A waitress said “sit wherever you can get a table” so some people left and we stood by the dirty table for 10 minutes. Nobody came or said “be there in a second”. My wife moved cleared the people’s dirty plates and we sat at a dirty table. We waited 30 minutes and not one person said a word. We decided the schnitzel probably wasn’t worth the wait so we left. Lovely authentic German restaurant with great atmosphere, we were excited to go back there. We recently went back and the hostess was unimpressed and more concerned about her phone than showing good service to customers. The food previously was 5-star with traditional German flavours, large portions and reasonably priced…now it was bland, tasted like it had been burnt and reheated. Nothing special about it. The service was okay. Writing this review in hopes that the chef can go back to the quality of food and service that they previously had. Unfortunately we won’t be back there for a while.
