A couple of my friends had attended the World Buffet on Sauchiehall Street on a lads night and were meet by raw food, mouldy fruit and not so great service, so of course we HAD to to try the Renfield Street location to compare the two and it was amazing! I had expected a cramped, overly busy restaurant, with that buffet smell and as it was warm outside and the food is all cooked fresh and much of it in front of the customers I had expected it to be roasting! If I could rate this restaurant with a negative 5, I would. It had been a while since my last visit, so I decided to give it another chance. The sauces tasted store-bought and not authentic. They were vile and unpleasant. The chicken seemed to be pre-cooked and reheated in the sauces, resulting in dry and flavorless meat. The desserts were clearly cheap and lacking in quality. The strawberry custard was more like unset Angel Delight. Anyone giving this place more than one star must have no taste buds. Was it worth nearly £10 for the food and a soft drink? Absolutely not. I recently revisited this restaurant and wanted to give them another review. The food is still very tasty with a wide variety of choices. However, the service was lacking during our meal. One staff member in particular was inattentive and seemed more focused on other tables than ours. When it came time to pay, there was confusion about the number of guests in our party and additional drink charges that were not ours. Despite these issues, I still believe this restaurant is worth a visit for its delicious food and desserts. I wish I could give them a half star rating, but overall, I would recommend this place.

I used to enjoy this restaurant, especially when dining with picky eaters. However, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. The chicken korma had a strange odor and was watery, the naan bread was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside, the pakora was stale and chewy, and the sushi tasted dry as if it had been left out for hours. My mother's coke was flat and she suspected the chicken on her pizza was off. I brought my parents here as a treat, but now I regret it. I take food hygiene seriously and cannot recommend this place. I will not be returning.

Jack of all cuisines, master of none. Some wings were average. All other dishes mediocre. Ice cream was good. Service was attentive, prompt friendly.
