My experience with Woodbridge Costa is not good. The staff is rude and talk about you right in front of you. I once went in to order a drink and I couldn’t hear what the worker was asking me as it was quite loud in there. I politely asked what he said but I still couldn’t hear. I felt a bit embarrassed that I had to ask again but I kindly apologised that I couldn’t hear and asked them to repeat what he said. The worker then rolled his eyes and sighed very heavily in an annoyed manner. This did not help as I was already embarrassed that I couldn’t hear. We visited Woodbridge Costa on 13/04/24 and were extremely shocked by the lady who served us. I really politely asked for as much milk as possible in my takeaway tea. She filled it to the very top and I again very politely and tentatively asked if it may leak with the lid on, as it was already spilling over the top. I couldn’t believe the sarcastic and rude response that I received. Her whole tone and body language were horrendous and we were made to feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome. We have always found the staff in Ipswich so friendly and helpful and we really hope that nobody else has to experience this awful behaviour.
Me and my friends were just going to get a cup of ice water as we didn't have enough money to buy a bottle of water and it was 27° so we were very hot. There were two people there working at the counter and when they filled up my cup they were saying to eachother that we were only getting it for the costa cups. I think it is very unprofessional, talking about your customers when they are still right there and can still hear you. Also they gave us these really small plastic cups instead which barley held any water in whereas the first time we went there they gave us it in a Costa cup. It was our second time getting water here.
My first visit to a costa coffee shop,very disappointed,coffee was only Luke warm and the tables were very unstable so had to wedge a spoon under to stop spillage,first and last visit to Costa’s I’m afraid
