As the phone was not being answered (during opening hours), I emailed the restaurant four days ago to request a table. No reply so rang and spoke to Luca himself only to be told that my email had not been received without even asking for my email address! Also asked which email address did I use? To which I replied the one on the website of course! Luca then informed me that the restaurant would be closed for 3 weeks from 31 July so we therefore couldn't have eaten there anyway. I courteously highlighted that it would have been really useful if the holiday closure dates had appeared on the website thus saving his and my time. This restaurant in Marlow serves the best Italian food. The pizza and pasta are truly delicious, cooked authentically in a lovely family-run atmosphere. There is pleasant seating both inside and outside, and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great choice for local families. No need to make any changes - it's perfect as it is!
Third time here at Da Luca's, on a rainy Wednesday night, it was packed, luckily we booked. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food, Pizzas Chicken Bolognese and more.
