I recently had the opportunity to stop by Restaurant Doug's Hot Dogs for a quick bite, and I must say it was quite an experience. Located in a small, charming spot with old town vibes, the restaurant has a 1950’s ambiance. The two servers were polite and quick!I ordered two Italian sausages along with a side of chips. While waiting for my order, I couldn't help but notice that the buns were being prepared on the counter for another patron. This raised a slight concern in my mind, wondering if they had done the same with my hot dogs. Tried this place for the first time since moving near ocean view last year.Fantastic!I came in today and sat at the bar to dine in. Staff is so friendly and quick. I tried the pork and beef hot dogs described with “snappy skin” and its delicious. I wanted to venture out from my normal cravings and I got the Boston dog and the Mac and cheese dog.The Mac and cheese dog reminds me of my childhood. My dad would put cut hot dogs in my Mac and cheese for dinner sometimes and I wasn’t expecting the Mac and cheese to be perfect and creamy!The Boston dog is delicious. Pleasant mom and pop type place. You can sit at a small table or at the counter. Food is all homemade! I've been 4 times and will definitely continue to go.Food: 5/5
