I can only be brutally honest with this: ice was very good BUT! The female participant, after serving one of the four of us wrong, caught the money from the counter, while in the background a male waiter screamed at a...young female employee. Our change was dropped into the ice counter!!! then handed over to me with a carpet. my family sat at one of the 20-30 tables, of which perhaps 10% were occupied, then quickly chased away because we didn't order anything? I pointed to the ice that obviously doesn't count, so we got up and went. He invited us to sit on one of the wooden benches under a tree near the café. My husband and I love this place. It is located right next to the church in Überlingen and as far as we are concerned, is the best ice trader in the city. Everything's homemade. You have a beautiful outdoor area where you can order... the menu. There are also other places to sit, because unfortunately you cannot order from the stand and then sit at the tables, this is the only drawback. You have a small area to play for children. My favorite is lemon (lemon) and snickers and my husband loves her amarena cherry. Definitely worth a trip. We visit at least weekly in the summer months.
It was a pretty hot day and we called for ice creams, with bought 4 we sat at one of the 20 strange open tables, minutes later a waiter came and asked us to move further as they were tables for customers, apparently... Ice Cream doesn't count as a customer. We moved on, we told the rest of our group and they also went elsewhere, this cafe lost great time.
