My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time since it reopened post-COVID. The setting and overall ambiance of the place were top-notch, earning a five-star rating. However, we were disappointed with the service that evening. Everything seemed fine initially as we were seated and placed our drink orders. But after that, it felt like we were being ignored. Despite there being plenty of staff, they seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves. Our food arrived missing the chips we ordered, and our waitress seemed to have trouble finding basic items like black pepper. We frequently dine at Palominos and really enjoy it. One of my go-to dishes is the lasagna, although I have to say it's not as good as it used to be. I believe there may be a new chef in the kitchen. The lasagna is now served in metal dishes and just doesn't have the same taste. It's disappointing because it used to be delicious. I'm not happy with the change.
We visit this restaurant frequently and the food is amazing, although a bit expensive if not on special. The service is good and the cakes are delicious. The only downside, which prevented a perfect score of five, is that the restaurant is very dark inside. It would be better if the blinds were opened to let in more light from the arena.
From start to finish I cannot praise the equestrian centre enough for my son’s wedding. The attention to detail and the lovely staff all went to making this a perfect day. My husband and I had a chalet for the two nights and I was delighted with it. No complaints at all.
