Famous Donair - Table reservation

I must admit. I 've been sceptical. If indeed they don 't keep regular hours...phone ahead. Just induged in a Super Donair after reading all the positive reviews. I 've eaten here a few times in the last few years. I think because on my first visit I watched the chef pull the meat from a tray...and not off the spigot...I was turned off. Shaving it fresh just seems right. So I 've always approached since with trepidation. Tonight however... Damn. It really hit the spot! Juicy and delicious. Friendly service. It 's not fancy...at all! But I think I finally appreciate why they are famous!

This place is pretty simple, no frills. But oh my do they make an excellent donair!! Don't let the simple decor and location fool you. These folks show great care and pride in their product and it shows in the amazing taste of their food. I can see why lots of Sherwood Park residents rave about this hidden gem. For me they're good enough to warrant a trip from the city!

The donairs at this restaurant are filled with delicious, meaty goodness and are incredibly tasty. The fries are always freshly made to order, making it a great value for your money. The staff is friendly and the establishment is clean. It's definitely worth a visit to Famous for the best donair.

Good food and friendly service. The staff here is very friendly. Not a long wait typically. Good portion sizes for the price. Affordable.
