we were in the opposite and have paid such a visit to george and drachen. the food service was a little slow, but we don't mind when we weren't in a hurry. we enjoyed the meal and it is very good. we will visit again.
good customer service. eating was very tasty and reasonable considering that it is marlow. not especially characterful once inside, but a more pleasant place to enjoy a meal or a drink.
george dragon typifies the English pub of each. it offers a series of beers of the design. the food offers (fish and chips with muddy heaps) are quite good.
Good value and location. Friendly staff. Decent size portions, and good Turkey roast. Arguably 5 stars for value.
