I was really upset figuring out they gave you a tiny little space to be with your pet or up where is also really noisy for your pet. We were really hungry and ask if we could bring some food up and they said no,...I understand this but it was ridiculous that the only place they have for pets is just 2 chairs in a little corner and they were on board more than 4 big gods! That is insane! I know that regulations apply but this days more people travel with their pets and should be a way of help us! Even a bigger space to stay inside the boat would be a huuuge improvement!
I am usually not a fan of ferry food but this one is an exception !! It was lunch time during our crossing and I decided lunch was in order so my husband and I I took our chances. The lobster rolls are amazing. My...son in law also enjoyed the seafood chowder. Try it ! You will love it !! Plus the staff at the cafeteria are super friendly which is an added bonus. The cafeteria is super clean as well. I as told by a friend that her family likes taking an early ferry crossing because they enjoy breakfast on the ferry.
Recently took the Grand Manan V Ferry. Checkin and ordered food as soon as we on-boarded the Ferry. They took the money as soon as we ordered but then had to wait 75 min to get the food. We only had 15 min to eat...the food before departure. Extremely disappointed. Will never order again
I was pleasantly surprised by the variety, quantity, and prices of the food available on the ferry. It's a good idea to eat before arriving on the island, as there are very few dining options on Grand Manan now. Book a table now
The GM W restaurant has a more modern feel compared to the GM Adventurer, but both locations offer a lovely sit-down meal or the option to take your food to the scenic lookout deck.

Don't know if it was this ferry or the other as two are running back and forth across the bay of fundy. However, the lobster roll served in the restaurant was excellent.
I had the pleasure of enjoying a large seafood chowder under the grand ferry. It was delicious and filled with lots of seafood. I highly recommend it. Book a table now
The fries were very good but the fish was much too greasy for my likings! Nice portions though... Husband liked the scallops :
