Best food I had in the area.. The new owners do a great job. I try at least two or three White Bear Lake restaurants every week and I have been disappointed every time. Today I ate for the second time in Ha Long Bay and it was fantastic (as the first time). The Pho is tasteful and competently prepared. Before, I had the Beef Chow Fun and was delighted with the quality compared to other Asian restaurants in the area. The restaurant is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the service is incredibly fast and I cannot wait to try another dish at my next visit.
Really some of the best Asian cuisine in the Twin Cities!!!. Ha Long Bay, near Century and County Road E in White Bear Lake, has become a popular food. It offers a convenient location, with lots of parking for Dine in or take-out. Fresh, fast food bursting with taste, great service and reasonable prices make for exceptional value. Personal favorites so far contain the Pho, Bungalow, Curry and Pad Thai but there are many more elements on the menu to try!!!
Great. The July 2010 comment is unfortunately no longer applicable! Things have really changed lately. The newer owners make great things here with more delicious Vietnamese dishes. They brought the Pho back to the menu and I think it is one of the best places in the cities to go fopho! Very friendly service and a better atmosphere than before - and it is great to have a little more authentic Asian food on the brides. A must try!
I absolutely love this place!!! They make amazing food, have great costumer service, and never fail to get an order perfect! Truly one of the best family owned restaurants around the White Bear Lake Area. They even were giving out free lunches to school children during the pandemic!! What kind souls :
