I really wanted to like this place, because the decor is super cute and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the coffee just wasn't good. We ordered a blueberry maple latte, and it tasted strange. It also had a bunch of grounds at the bottom, like they hadn't cleaned the machine in a while. They were kind enough to replace the drink with a regular latte, but it tasted just as bad.We ordered a morning grains bowl as well, which was super expensive at $16. It came with a single egg, a bed of dry rice, and yellowing arugula. The pesto was pretty good, but the meal overall was pretty egregious for the price point.Overall, we were pretty disappointed. Maybe just a bad day for the store?

Holsem offers creative original lattes at a reasonable price point. The seating area is large enough to accommodate most people even on busy weekends, and the craziest part: almost every table has access to a power outlet.Ambient music included some fun early 2000s and 2010s pop and hip-hop remixes which added to the enjoyment. Who doesn't like drinking coffee while listening to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air intro?

This is my second time at Holsem. I ordered the orange vanilla latte and it was so good. Inside was pretty busy but there were open seats available. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Parking would be turkey I usually park and then walk nearby cuz there's so much other stuff in the neighborhood. But the latte was slightly sweet and very refreshing with the orange notes

Great local coffee shop. Had their banana bread cold brew and was super impressed. Not to sweet, great balance and aroma from the bananas and cinnamon. Will need to come back to their more of their selections!Food: 5/5
