We were in Plano/Frisco area for the Jimmy Buffett Concert Saturday. In short, OUT-FREAKING-STANDING! First and foremost one of the BEST things is NO Coors/Bud/Miller on tap!!! Great selection of local and local seasonal beers on tap and by the bottle. Our server Gozzi, (Hope I spelled that right was very knowledgeable and had some excellent recommendations. He knew his beers! We had no clue about the menu and again he had some great suggestions. We were that pain table, 4 adults, and child and with various customized orders and requests. Dude did not write a single thing down and got everything spot on and correct. We started with the deviled eggs, talk about a twist on an old favorite. Wow...
This was first time at The Holy Grail Pub, but definitely won't be my last. I highly recommend this bar. The staff was courteous and attentive. Beers came quickly, food came out in a reasonable period of time. I sat inside and it had a nice atmosphere. There was good music , but not so loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation. They also have a lot of covered outdoor seating which was almost full even though it was about 90 degrees. They have a great selection of beers on draft (over 50) and a large food menu. I went for the Ayinger Oktoberfest beer. I also orderd the Ghost Pepper Chili to go with my beer. Very spicy, but absolutely delicious. If you can handle spicy (and I mean spicy)...
I love this pub. Fantastic staff, excellent knowledge of beers and whiskeys. I can rely on the owner to give me the perfect recommendation on what to drink. He has excellent taste. The gravy fries and Monte Cristo are my personal favorites. The ghost pepper chili is amazing according to my mom. I can't handle the heat because I am a puss* Highly recommend
