Horse Groom - Table reservation

We were highly recommended to visit the Horse and Groom by many friends.We found all the Bar staff very nice and polite and I tried the Dirty Doner Burger from the Specials board,which was very nice.A dish I have not seen anywhere else.Sadly though.The place was fairly busy but seemed to lack muchatmosphere.Also.I found the Gents Toilets to be very below par with the floor covered in water and rather tired and dirty looking walls.Therefore,I sadly will find it hard to recommend the Pub to anyone after my visit today.Overall,I would rate it at around 5/10.

Due to a spontaneous change in our plans, myself and three others arrived at the Horse Groom without a reservation. The bartender was accommodating and recommended that we sit at table 12 since it was available. The food menu was excellent, with the specials board being particularly impressive. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our meal. All of our dishes were delicious, especially the ribeye which I highly recommend. I would definitely return to this restaurant again.

We had a great experience at this restaurant with a diverse menu that catered to everyone in our group. The Steak Pie was particularly delicious, with high-quality beef. The presentation of our meals was beautiful and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was a plus to have vegan dessert options available to choose from.

Very different from the visit 4 of us 3 years ago when we were between lockdowns. Meant you had to turn us away as we hadn't booked. This time it was all fine. Lovely seating in the conservatory for 16 of us. Great menu, staff and food lots to eat, whatever we ordered.

Fantastic staff. Really quick and easy. Great menu. Good food. Value for money. Lovely atmosphere.
