Group of three early morning. The host goes to seat us right behind an elderly couple, but I request to be seated with a space between us since the place was empty and I don't like sharing conversations with strangers, as I would guess the same goes for the couple. The host looks at me with a skeptical look, and that's when I noticed I asked to be seated by the back door. I've never been judged in such a manner by an establishment. His attitude and demeanor towards us were equivalent to the look he gave me when I requested the move. So there was no misunderstanding about what the look was about. I ended up walking out without ordering and went somewhere else to eat.
We moved to the area less than a year ago and have visited this IHOP several times. It used to be a pleasant experience, but since a new server, an older gentleman with glasses, started working there, I’m hesitant to return. Our first encounter with him was disappointing; he was rude and seemed to consider serving us a burden. He took a long time to take our order, and once our food arrived, he never checked on us again. I ended up having to ask a busboy for water since he was ignoring us. I returned later and saw him again, nearly leaving until I noticed another server working, and we decided to sit in her section instead. I ordered a Colorado omelet to go, but when I got home, I realized it was missing all the green ingredients – no salsa, no onions, nothing. It was basically just a meaty egg. I called the restaurant, and the girl on the phone said the manager would get back to me the next day, but I never heard anything. I called again two days later, and they told me the same thing: the manager would follow up. Still nothing. It would be nice if they took a moment to address their customers' concerns. Choose this place as your last option.Been going here since 2 years. The quality have worsen every time little by little. They don't wear gloves, touches dishes with the same hand just after they touched the broom (or cleaning related items), in general, they aren't washing their hands before service. Dirty Cutleries. Food is bad (they can't make a good scrambled eggs). Horrible customer service. Unfortunately the staff is not trained. Owners doesn't seems to care at all, cause naturally there is no other competition near by. Book a table now
Arghhh! Alejandro the waiter was very surly and impolite to us. He never smiled, never greeted us in a friendly manner. When we asked for knives and forks, he was annoyed. When we asked for hotter coffee, he simply brought us the same caraff of tepid coffee. He needs to be counselled. His gruff manner is a big turn off. But the IHOP food is terrific.
My family and I love coming here for breakfast! The food is always so good!
The food is consistently good, but they sometimes have a shortage of staff.
