Was excited to try this new place out. Great remodeling of the building to give a nice indoor/outdoor feel. Service was friendly, but still has some kinks to work out...as we spent a fair amount of timing waiting. Food was fine...we stuck to the brisket and pulled pork, as we figured those would be what they do best. It was decent enough, and came with choice of two sides. Potato fries and ranch tater tots were fine. Collard greens were good, but had a little too much sugar added. Overall, we were happy to see a new place in the area, and will give it another try in the future.
The staff is extremely friendly and the food is fantastic. This is not your typical menu in any way. Some of my favorites include the smoked wings, burnt ends queso, and the bratwurst is amazing. This restaurant is a wonderful addition to the city. If you enjoy bourbon, this is the perfect place for you. I highly recommend it.
The restaurant offers a fantastic Sunday football Happy Hour deal - 1 pound of wings and a pitcher of beer for only $15. The portions are just right, not overly filling. The wings are delicious and overall, the food is excellent. I highly recommend it.
Rachel was fantastic as our server and really took care of our large group of 25 people! She was attentive to our needs, answered our menu queries, and promptly took our food and drink orders. Thanks to Iron Oak and Rachel for a wonderful experience!
